Hard Anodizing (Type III)

Hard Anodizing is carried out in a sulfuric acid bath at low temperature. This produces a coating with very high strength and hardness superior to normal anodizing.
However, each aluminum alloy achieves different results. There are aluminum alloys that are not the most suitable, such as the 2000 alloys and alloys that contain a lot of silicon.
